新?學大樓動土禮昨日下午四時在培正中學操場舉行，土地工務運輸局長賈利安、澳門基金會行政委員會主席吳榮恪、??局代局長梁勵、文化局代局長陳澤成、澳門霍英東基金會代表崔世昌任主禮嘉賓。

培正中學校董會主席何建宗表示，培正中學近年銳意?改，本?“發展優質?育，創建美好校園”的宗旨，訂立“十年發展計劃”，以學生為本，努力完善校園的硬件配置，提升?學質量。自二○○五年該校之“創校一百一十五周年紀念大樓”竣工，連同較早前校園的“穿衣戴帽”工程，該校的“十年發展計劃”已餘校門區域的一幢新?學大樓的興建工程。

新?學大樓暫名“創校一百二十周年紀念大樓”，大樓的外形設計將給人煥然一新的形象：“歷史+創新”，兼容厚重的歷史文化，承傳百年創校輝煌，發展優質?育。建築物的靈感源自“知識的?庫”——圖書館。建築的立面面向高士德馬路部分，設計彰顯培正現代化的一面。圖書館乃知識的象徵，面向大馬路的立面設計概念是一個大型書架。建築物底部窗戶設計成歪斜不規則模式，寓意同學們進入培正時素質有其參差不齊，但沿?建築物向上發展，歪斜部分逐漸得到修正。

建築物的中層是兩層以強化玻璃膜牆為設計主體的大型圖書館，玻璃膜牆透視圖書館內部，讓外面可以體會到圖書館內莘莘學子的求知精神。建築物上層的窗戶變得整齊歸一，寓意經培正“至善至正”校訓的薰陶後，養成該校“非以役人，乃役於人”的高?情操，甘作“僕人”回饋社會，在不同的領域彰顯紅藍精神。

設計創新別具特色

至於面向校園的立面設計，則採取與面向大街的部分截然不同的概念。面向校園的立面融合歷史悠久的高?學府的醇厚氛圍，設計沿用E座大樓和“創校一百一十五周年紀念大樓”的柱廊設計和“至善至正”書型徽章設計。

至於建築物頂層則採用盧家大宅頂層樓的設計，取其歷史建築的傳統味道，以配合校園各建築風格的一致性。至於面向賈伯樂提督街的立面，則採取了一個鮮明的象徵符號——基督?的十字架，彰顯基督?學校的核心價?。面向校園的其中一面立面將安置攀石牆壁，希望以後每一位畢業生都能在專業的指導和訓練下完成攀登，挑戰頂峰，寓意通過了基礎?育的考驗。

當?學大樓竣工後，將會局部向社區開放，回饋社會，計劃中館藏十五萬冊的大型圖書館、多功能體育館和活動空間均屬開放之列。

連同主禮嘉賓主持動土禮的還有該校校監羅永祥，名譽校董梁維特、黃志成，浸聯會牧師陳志強，校董陳滌非、楊國雄、劉永誠，培正同學會會長黃漢堅，校長李祥立，候任校長高錦輝和承建商代表李志棠等。

ha, i havent swam for almost 2 yrs lo…once i jump into the pool, i cant control myself to swim…haha.. i gain back my feeling and passion on swimming !! yeah ! but most importantly, i wanna lose weigh…that’s my aim..seriously…

HIST 17C – American history from 1900 to present
the prof. looks cool, but the workload is a little bit TOUGH…2 midterms (choose 1), 2 open book quizzes (choose 1), 1 paper and 1 final….and the exam includes short and long question…no mc… ha, should i drop it ? no la…. i think i can do pretty well in her class if I can concentrate on studying………

PSYC 1 – General Psychology
the prof. looks cool and fun, the workload is okay, just 4 test including final exam scheduled on the same day with hist 17c final. final is non-cumulative… that’s good for both of us….he is funny indeed…just like what other students have said in ratemyprofessor.com…ha, the same sentence, i think i can do pretty well in his class if I can concentrate on studying………

actually i wanna join the crew of a summer magazine called “insider” in De Anza… I wanna contribute to be a page designer and photographer…however, the cost is that i need to take a three non-transferable units class..which is $133 x 3 for international student…..sincerely i really believe that my contribution can  make this magazine to be a better looking, more professional magazine…ai.. it’s too expensive tho…

but whether i can spare time to contribute is critical…..

we ordered a traditional ethiopian cuisine… called “vegetable and beef chicken lamb injure combination”..something like that..i forgot the name…-.-
it’s ok tasty, in general…
the manager asked us if we would like to order some beverages..
he recommended us a ethiopian wine called ” honey wine”..

after discussions..

chris : ” we would like to order one…”
manager : ” are u old enough ?”
chris : “……”

finally he gave us…

the flavor is like honey + beer…
my face turned RED already after drinking a little…
ha, but I’m not drunk lor…

since both zoe and jackie agreed that the wine couldn’t fulfill their desire of drinking
we decided to order 2 more…to go..
we backed to 657 Kodiak Ct Apt 4…
I also invited iris to come, as she always said that she wanna drink..haha..
we held a tiny party of six
as we failed to open the wine…..we decided to use a hammer to break it down..
I’m not sure whether this method reveals our intelligence or stupidity…..
we did not play any game…like “true or dare” as zoe dared not to play…lol…
we just chatted with each other…
topics varied from love affairs to culture shock…
jackie asked me who is my target….
i said ” study is my first priority…………….” as usual
now i would say that I’m not sure whether she is my target loo…
so let’s see…..

My IBM T43 is finally repaired..
I really appreciate the efficiency of IBM Repair Center
I ship my laptop to IBM on monday…
then they ship it back to me on wednesday…

it’s definitely an awesome trip…
it’s my first time to stay overnight in a tent…
it’s my first time to have a night hiking…
it’s my first time to see such an amazing, fascinated full moon…
it’s my first time to hear such a lot birds’ singing…
it’s my first time to drive along the mountain path..so scary le…
although those hikings make me exhausted..it’s worth going…I think
at least,
I realize what SILENCE and DARKNESS are during the night hiking…
I realize what TRUE NATURE is during the entire event…
ha, we should protect the nature environment lo…
